First listed in January 2009. Kurrara is a native Australian word meaning nest in the valley, very appropriate we thought.
This 4 bedroom, air conditioned villa has been tastefully adapted to add a mezzanine floor above the vaulted, large living area. It is a very short walk to the golf clubhouse, shops and bars - yet is in a quiet location with little passing traffic.
The villa has traditional terracotta tiling in the living areas and bedrooms to give a traditional feel, while the kitchen and bathrooms have marble flooring.
The terrace is reasonably private and has a shaded dining area, a covered external living room with sofa and armchair, and sunbeds.
The wooden floored mezzanine level has been added and gives a unique, luxury quality to this villa. In the hottest times of year it does feel warm up in the mezzanine, even with airconditioning, so please be aware of this when booking.
There is a playground close by for families with children.
What made us fall in love with this property?
We loved the sense of peace in the area before the site was begun, and that has continued to this day. The resort has an extraordinary sense of space while being near both the coast and the inland mountains, shopping areas and countryside, transport routes and airports. The villa is in perhaps the quietest part of the estate, yet is close to the town centre with its golf clubhouse, supermarket, restaurants and bars.
Is a car essential?
No, a car is not absolutely essential as you can be collected and returned to Murcia airport, and everything you need is on site. A courtesy bus also operates between El Valle and other Polaris resorts and beaches. However a car will give you more mobility and freedom to explore.
