We fell in love with this house the moment we saw it. It has wonderful views but most of all a great sense of calm and warmth. We have spent lots of holidays with our family there going to the square for coffees, swimming in the nearby beaches, having delicious meals in town. In the evenings it is so nice just to sit in the garden and enjoy the fresh air and the orange trees or stroll by the see front with the Bourzi all lit up enjoy a drink in one of the many beautiful cafes, excellent place also for a nice breakfast by the seafront.

The town has great shopping and a wide selection of restaurants and cafes. There are two gorgeous castles in town one of them in the sea. From the house you can see the big castle on the hill all light up in the night. It is quite the site.

Of course by now we have our favourite restaurants that we are more than happy to share with you but most importantly the ice-cream shop own by our dear friend Marcelo and his sister Claudia. The best ice-cream in the world.

There are three beautifully made and well organised museums , a library and a Gallery with beautiful paintings from the Greek revolution. There is also a Harvard organised data base for old manuscripts well worth the visit.

Nearby is Tiryntha, Argos, Mykines and the famous old theatre Epidavros.

Once you are exhausted of the local culture, there are good beaches nearby, one with water-sports and facilities in the summer. You can rent cars, motorbikes, bicycles and even occasionally a sailing boat locally. It is a great base for sightseeing in the region.

Nafplio is a town that will stay in your heart for ever and our house will make this experience even so more warm and comfortable. Being situated in the heart of Old Nafplio you can walk anywhere and enjoy restful and stress free days.
