Faliraki:
Like all infamous destinations, the reputation of Faliraki holidays precedes it ranking with other Mediterranean party resorts like Magaluf and Agia Napa. During the day, life centres along the long sandy beach, one of the best on the island. There are many water sports here and children will love the water park and the funfair in the resort.
Rhodes Town:
The Old Town, Mandraki harbour, Sokratous Street, the Turkish and Jewish Quarters, the town walls, the Palace of the Grand Masters there's a lot to see in Rhodes Town. Or stretch out on the town's golden shingle swathe, Psaropoula beach.
Lindos:
This tantalisingly jumble of buildings climb from sandy shores up steep slopes on all sides of the bay. Hail a donkey at the foot of Lindos Acropolis. From the top, you'll see over the village and its main beach and little Pallas Beach, and St Paul's Bay on the other side of the Acropolis.
Lindos village is also enchanting. A preservation order and its status as a national landmark, Lindos has been saved from mass tourism. The narrow paved alleys between whitewashed buildings are vehicle-free and Lindos really is donkey power.
