This beautiful beach house was featured in a Brazilian Magazine as a wonderful example of relaxed but stylish living on the beach.
A beautifully appointed balcony offers comfortable and spacious seating in which to unwind and enjoy the beach, the sea and the blue skies whilst enjoying a refreshing light breeze in the evening.
The master bedroom has a hand built four poster bed, en suite bathroom and sea views available. Bedrooms have air conditioning.
An open plan, architected design combines a well equipped modern kitchen with a comfortable and spacious dining area for meals.
The Villa includes comfortable seating upstairs and downstairs combined with large Plasma TVs offering Satellite and DVD entertainment. Broadband connectivity allows good internet access for social networking and email.
The beach house stairs and balcony have an open look and feel. Whilst this is nice, families with babies and toddlers should be aware of the potential risks from a safety perspective.
A garden area with a barbecue leads onto the sandy seashore which enjoys close proximity to the famous rock on Praia Do Amor beach.
The Villa benefits from the service of live-in Brazilian speaking employees who will ensure things remain tidy. It also has off road secure parking within the property.
The surrounding area is quite quiet and undeveloped with only one local restaurant within walking distance. The nearby beach has a rustic beach bar.
The fishing village of Jacuma is located nearby and has a small selection of restaurants and bars. There is also the potential to hire beach buggies to explore up to five miles of lovely coastline and sandy beaches.
Joao Pessoa is within thirty minutes travel and is considered the city where the sun first rises in Brazil, being the most easterly city. It is also one of the greenest cities in the world and offers tranquility and beaches as well lots of stores for those wanting to shop. Joao Pessoa has a population of about 700,000 people and is considered very safe, laid back and family friendly.
A wonderful local organic coconut plantation of about 200 acres is closely associated with the Beach House. The owners are developing this into an Organic, Fairtrade coconut plantation and would be very pleased to arrange a visit. It is run by a delightful and highly experienced married couple who speak good English and are both graduates.
In addition, the plantation is proud to have the stewardship responsibility for acres of Atlantic Forest which can be explored at length - maybe after a BBQ on the plantation.
Near the plantation, the local community has a school which offers education to children from ages 3 to 11 who would otherwise not receive any education. The owners are keen supporters of the school, which now caters for over 600 children! If you would be interested in a visit during your stay that can be investigated.
The owners intent is for those enjoying a well deserved, luxurious and relaxing break in the Beach House to have the opportunity to explore nature and the workings of an organic coconut plantation that offers opportunities for the local community and to fulfill a stewardship responsibility towards the Atlantic Forest.
In summary, this stunning villa has beautiful views directly onto a tropical sandy beach, sparkling seas and blue skies where you can wake to the sun rising onto the balcony and fall asleep to the gentle lapping of waves on the shore.
Note: photographic credits belong to leading Brazilian magazine Artestudio, which ran an exclusive feature on the Beach House at Praia Do Amor in issue 25, 2009.
