After you reach the top, why not stop for a drink, try a traditional Slovenian dish in the renowned castle restaurant or simply admire the remarkable view over Ljubljana? Afterwards, there are many other pathways that lead to the city centre of Ljubljana and the old town sights or you can even take the funicular railway to descend from the hill.On the opposite bank of the Ljubljanica river from the botanical garden, where the river splits into two channels, lies a popular gathering point called Špica where you can enjoy taking a stroll, take your kids to a playground or spend a romantic evening with your other half.
