Situated on a spacious plot of 1100 m2 and built in typical African style this lodge is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. From the living room there are doors opening to the veranda which is perfect for taking in the spectacular scenery. Adjacent to the living room is the open, fully equipped kitchen with 6 bar stools. Both of the downstairs bedrooms lead out to a private terrace with an outdoor shower. The very spacious loft area sleeps up to 4 guests with a four twin beds, complete with satellite TV / DVD / CD player and mosquito nets. The spacious layout of the lodge is ideal for families with children.OutsideThe spacious veranda overlooking the gardens and fish ponds comes complete with a large wooden dining table, 6 wooden dining chairs, a coffee table with six chairs and two lovely big wicker chairs with cushions. A wooden staircase leads from the veranda to the garden and ponds. Guests have free use of the two pools at the lodge. In one of the pools is a sunken bar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be found in the excellent à la carte restaurant on site. Also available is a laundry service and 24hr reception. The Wellness and Beauty Spa onsite offers many relaxing treatments. Local AreaThe lodge is situated very close to the entrance of the Kruger National Park amidst beautiful tropical gardens with many native trees and plants. The location of the cottage is ideal as a base for several organised excursions and safaris with Sefapane Lodge & Safaris being just 1 kilometre from the main entrance of the Kruger National Park offering something for everyone from river, walking, night, balloon and 4 X 4 safaris, culture & villages tours, canyon tours, crocodile park, Debengeni waterfalls and the giant Baobab tree visits are just a sample of the activities available. The famous Hans Merensky Golf Course is just 2 km from the cottage by free transfer this is easily accessible.
