The Captains House is a wonderful 300 years old stone villa, recently restored by local craftsmen to its original splendour. The villa has stunning panoramic views. It is also close to all water-front bars and restaurants.
This villa is just perfect for enjoying the relaxing charm of Croatia, The Captains House is a hideaway in a pretty hamlet above the village of Viganj. It is situated on the tranquil and pristine Peljesac Peninsuna, only 300 metres from the spectacular beaches and the warm crystal water of the Adriatic sea.
This wonderful Stone House is south-facing and has panoramic views from all four bedrooms, the terraces and the balcony.
The Captains House is ideal for secluded relaxation, water-sports and other outdoor activities.Mediaeval Korcula is just across the straits while beautiful Ston and Dubrovnik are easy day trips.

Inside the Villa
All four bedrooms are subtly designed with a soft yet dramatic colour scheme with wooden floors and beds with white linen. Our bedrooms have superking-size beds with comfortable mattresses and plenty of storage space for luggage.
The superior high-tech bathsheets and hand towels are made from a mixture of cotton and bamboo and are luxuriously soft, highly absorbent and quick drying.
The Captains House has three interlinked terraces. The first is for al-fresco dining with shade provided by a traditional pergola. A bridge leads to the second terrace and from there steps take you up to the flat roof terrace where there are lounging chairs for the sun worshippers.
Additionally there is a stone balcony on the top floor. Each of the terraces and the balcony have superb views of the Adriatic, the nearby islands, Korcula Town and Mount Ilija.
